Dylan Roy's "CDXXIII" Video
5/29/2024
Dylan Roy was a pivotal homie and filmer in the Texas skate scene for many years. His time on this earth unexpectedly came to an end January 1st, 2024, but his spirit lives on and echoes throughout the ones he loved. He left behind a time capsule of footage from 2020–2022 that never had its release, until now. The video had a local Austin premiere at Pease Park on May 24th, 2024, on what would have been Dylan’s 35th birthday. Friends and family gathered to celebrate Dylan and enjoy the gift he gave us all: his love, time and also some dope VX footage. This footage completes the trilogy in his CDXX series and serves as a reminder to enjoy your life, take care of yourself and go on skate trips with your friends. Thanks for the good times, Dylan! Love you and we’ll see you on the next sesh. —Calvin Millar
