Action Sports Kids Foundation
The Action Sports Kids Foundation started by building skateparks in Long Beach to keep kids off the streets and away from gang activity. They’ve had an astonishing success rate, keeping their 80 members out of danger, and helping to build eight parks around LB. Be grateful for ASK next time you hit the rebuilt Cherry Park. -

Adaptive Action Sports
Adaptive Action Sports out of Colorado provides skate and snowboard programs for disabled youth and more. Daniel Gale and Element Advocate Amy Purdy started AAS in 2005 to show snowboarding and skateboarding are for everyone, regardless of ability. -

Piggy-backing off the Elemental Awareness program, SkateWild organizes trips with pro skaters and members of communities where access to skateboarding is limited, encouraging outdoor recreation and creative exploration.
